Ancestry Plus

Ancestry Plus, a geneaological software product is available on a computer that is located in the library.

This software is not available online.

Art Club

Art Club is open to adults and older teens who have an interest in Art.

You do not have to be an artist to join.

The club meets at 6:30 pm on the first Tuesday of each month at the Odenville Civic Center (across the street from the library)

The club hosts guest speakers and workshops and one art show per year for members. Also club members may exhibit their work at local venues.

Dues are $20.00 annually.

Book club

Book club is open to any patron with an interest in reading.

The club meets the first Tuesday of each month at noon to discuss the book of the month.

Book club selections are adult fiction.

There is no charge for membership in the book club.

Participants must have an Odenville Library card in good standing, in order to check out the selected book.

Bring your lunch and join us for a lively discussion at the library for the monthly book club meeting. Drink and a dessert is furnished.

Chess Club

Want to learn how to play chess, or test your skills against others?

Join St. Clair Deputy Pedro Pino and club members for good games!

 Elementary students meet every other Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30 at the library.

Adults and older students meet the same Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 at Mia Casita Restaurant in Odenville.

Adult dues are $25.00 per year.

Crochet/Needlework

Do you enjoy doing hand work, whether it be crochet, embrodery, knitting, spinning, tatting, or a similar craft?

Do you need someone to show you how to do a particular stitch? We bet one of the ladies can help!

Bring your project and join us for good fellowship!

We meet every Thursday at 1:00 pm in the kitchen at the library.

There is no cost to join the group

Story Time

Bring your toddler and join us for Story Time every Friday at 10:00 am during the school year.

This program is targeted to children from birth to kindergarden.

Parents must sit with their child/children.

Library Cards

Library cards are free for St. Clair County residents. Out of county residents may purchase a card for $10.00 per year.

You must not have a library card with problems (fines or missing items) at any other St. Clair county library.

Please bring your photo id and proof of address (recent mail, car registration, etc), when you apply for a card.

An Odenville Library card in good standing (no fines or missing items) will allow access to public computers. (Children under 13 must have a parent or guardian sit with them in order to use a computer.

Please be aware that family members with fines or missing books may cause your library privleges to be suspended.

Fax

The library  can send or receive faxes for you.

The cost is $1.50 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page

Copies

The library can make black and white copies for you for a cost of $0.25 per page;

Print

Patrons in good standing may print items from the public access computers for a cost of $0.25 per page.

Prints are in black and white. Color printing is not availabe.

Computer Access

Patrons with accounts in good standing may use the public access computers.

Family members with problem accounts may cause your account to be blocked until all fines are paid!

Computer access is available to patrons ages 7 and older having accounts in good standing.

Children under 13 must have parent or guardian sitting beside them at all times.

Our monitoring software does not permit access to Facebook, MySpace, Instant Messenging, and some other web sites.

No external media can be used on public access computers. This includes flash drives and CD's..

Black and white print is available for .25 per page.
